GRACE is our first 4th gen doe. She has beautiful conformation like both her sire and dam. Her dam, Raisin, is a good milker and has a nice udder. Grace is a small, petite doe and so sweet. Grace has pendulous ears. She is a gold roan with frosted ears and muzzle, tan trim and a partial white belt.
Grace's udder is VERY nice. It is tightly attached, super soft, and capacious. She is very easy to milk with her nice, long, correctly placed teats. She also has very high butterfat % like her granddam, Misty. In '09, Grace's average butterfat was 6.30% with her highest test coming back at almost 9%. In 2010, her average bf was even higher at 6.43%. She also had a very high protein test with an average of 4.27% in 2010. Her volume of milk was rather low her first two freshenings, when she had single does, but she freshened with triplet bucks in 2011, and her volume is WAY up. About 2 weeks into her 3rd freshening, she is milking 6 lbs a day. VERY good for a doe her size.

Grace's granddam, Misty, took Sr. GCH and Best Doe in Show in MDGA's 2008 virtual show. Grace's dam, Raisin, took 2nd in her class in that show.
