Lava is such a gorgeous doe. I was REALLY hoping for a doeling from this breeding, so was extremely happy to get this pretty girl. Her dam is one of the best does in our herd with her only real fault being that she is on the taller side. I bred her to our small, 26" buck and Lava is the result of that breeding! I am really liking how she is maturing. Very well put together with nice breed character. She has been VERY difficult to photograph so far however. She has a poorly placed moonspot on her rump that gives the optical illusion that she has a short, steep rump. Her dam's udder is absolutely beautiful and very productive. I hope she follows in her dam's foot steps. Lava's udder is very nice. Her attachments are incredible with high, snug rear udder attachments and a smooth, well extended foreudder. Her production has increased since her first freshening as well. Her butterfat content is one of the highest in the herd. Her teat placement is ideal and I think her udder will end up being amazing as she matures.
