ECLIPSE is an amazing doe although she is NOT photogenic. Eclipse has a ton of capacity and is one of our heaviest milkers giving over 1500# a year. She peaked at FOURTEEN pounds in 2021! I have never had one produce that much (previous peak here at Green Gables was 11#). Her rear udder is super high. She is VERY easy to milk. Her teats are longer than ideal, but very easy to milk with large orifices, so we are happy. She is a favorite one to milk here as it only takes a few moments to milk her completely. She is a phenomenal milker and lives up to her highly productive heritage. She is linebred on one of the most amazing MiniNubian does who has become a legend among MiniNubian breeders: VMCH Echo Hill's Molly O'Malley 2*P. Eclipse's dam's udder was everything I breed for: Incredible capacity, excellent teat placement, high, wide rear udder, well extended and smoothly blended foreudder, correct udder shape and TONS of milk peaking at 10# as a 2nd freshener! Eclipse was been slower to mature, but bloomed as a 2nd freshening 3 year old with amazing production and filled out much more. She has very nice breed character with long pendulous ears and a very roman nose. She has a lovely topline with sharp, tight withers, a strong chine, and a long, wide, level and flat rump (although it almost NEVER looks right in photos!). Eclipse has a sweet, quiet personality. In fact, her voice is so soft that occasionally, she will 'maa' and no sound comes out. LOL.

Maggie is one of those RARE does that has almost nothing I would change about her. Her conformation is stunning with excellent length, width and depth, a long, strong, level topline, straight legs with good angulation to her rear legs, GORGEOUS breed character. And her udder! Absolutely beautiful and very productive. Peaking over 10# and milking steadily through her lactation. Her udder is well shaped with well placed and sized teats (she is very easy to milk), soft udder texture, a wide rear udder and foreudder. The only things I would change about her udder is to have it a little bit higher and her foreudder a bit more extended. Her dam, Green Gables Cali Luna 4*P was one of our favorite does and Maggie's sire, Goldstone always put phenomenal breed character on his daughters. We have kept quite a few animals from this line. Eclipse is another Cali daughter, Cal is a Cali son from when she was bred back to her son, Remmy who is full brother to Maggie. We also have several granddaughters of Cali via Cal, Maggie and Eclipse daughters. We have Maggie's daughter, Hot Lava, in our herd and are hoping for another one in 2022.

Belle is her dam's mini me. But with even more milk! Lady, Belle's dam, was of one of my best milkers (highest volume in the herd in 2018). Belle's sire is out of the best milking MiniNubian I know of (peaking at almost 2 gallons in one day!!!). Belle herself has a lovely udder - amazing capacity, excellent teat placement, & a well defined medial. She is easy to milk and has lovely udder texture. She was giving 6# (3/4 of a gallon) a day as a little yearling! Her subsequent freshenings have not disappointed. Her udder still has beautiful udder division, attachments, teat placement and she is very productive. Belle has decent breed character although, typical of Lady kids, she has a lot of control over her ears. Belle keeps looking better and better as she matures. She's a HARD one to photograph as she always looks 10x worse in photos than in real life.

Kisses has QUITE the story (read about it below). Kisses is out of one of most beautiful does who has a LOVELY udder. Her sire is very small and also has stunning conformation and milk behind him. Kisses lost her udder shortly into her first freshening due to gangrene mastitis, but it was very correct, snugly attached with a high, snug rear udder, a nice foreudder, well placed and sized teats that were very easy to milk. Her dam, Bliss, has lovely conformation, a super correct udder that is snug with excellent attachments, well placed and sized teats. Kisses inherited her dam and sire's length of body, level topline and over all correct conformation. She has gorgeous breed character with better ears than either parent and a very roman nose. Oh, and she happens to have moonspots all over her too. Kisses story... As a first freshening 2yr old, she contracted mastitis on her right side within a few weeks of freshening. We treated it both naturally and conventionally, and were able to save her, but she began to slough off just her teat. We know does can lose half of their udder and go on to live healthy, productive lives, but with just losing the teat, but not the udder, we figured she would not be able to have kids again. We do not have a vet in the area that would be able to remove the udder. I knew that there was a lady who just LOVED Kisses and also knew that she had access to some really good vets. I reached out to Noriko, and told her the situation. I told her I would gladly give Kisses to her if she and her vets thought they would be able to do the surgery. After consultations and photos, they decided to give it a go. Kisses moved out to Colorado with Noriko and her surgery and recovery went well. She delivered healthy triplets for Noriko and was a wonderful mother inspite of the kids having to be bottle fed. In 2021, Noriko had to get out of goats and offered Kisses back to me. We are SO glad to have her come back to us!

BUGGY is looking absolutely stunning as she has matured. She is loooooong, wide, strong and dairy. Her nose is very roman and her ears are long although they have the strange ear set common among polled MiniNubians. Her topline is impeccable. Her milk background is incredible with many top ten milkers behind her. Her sire's full sister and his dam were some of our best milkers ever. Her dam is a gorgeous doe and very easy to milk with a socked on udder. Buggy's udder is absolutely LOVELY. Super snugly attached, high, wide rear udder, a well extended and snug foreudder, strong medial. Her teats could be more plumb and more centered, but they are EXTREMELY easy to milk. Her production is also doing great with a steady 6-7# a day.

Sire: VMCH Green Gables BF Spice of Freedom +*B (3rd gen) View extended pedigree here Height: 24.5" DOB: 4/13/19 Percentage: (Nubian/Nigerian) G6S Normal by parentage |

Jane is a lighter colored clone of her dam with better breed character. She freshened with an udder that has longer, easy to milk teats and a smoother foreudder than her dam (both traits I hoped to improve with this breeding). Her sire, Spice, tends to blend well with Moonbeam daughters (see Lady for a prime example). Jane's udder is perfectly lovely with incredibly soft texture, perfectly sized teats for handmilking and large orifices. It is snugly attached with a good foreudder. Jane is also staying quite TINY like her dam (24.5" at 2yrs old). Jane has beautiful, long, floppy ears and a slightly roman nose. Her personality is very quiet and sweet.

Long story on how Rapunzel ended up getting to stay. Rapunzel has CRAZY long ears with beautiful width and bell shape. Her nose is beautifully roman. This is a repeat breeding as the first kids from this pairing were SO nice! Rapunzel's dam, Goldilocks is an excellent milker doing a gallon a day easily at peak and maintaining a fairly level lactation. Her udder is buttery soft and easy to milk as well. Both Goldilocks and Comet have excellent conformation and level toplines. Rapunzel freshened with a socked on udder with long, easy to milk teats.

Every time I look at this girl I say 'Wow!' She is absolutely stunning! Long, wide, deep, smoothly blended, & gorgeous breed character. She has phenomenal udders and tons of milk behind her as well. Oh, and she's an absolute sweetheart too! When Peaches freshened in 2022 for the first time, her udder was exactly what I hoped for from this breeding. Amazing capacity, perfect teat placement, good sized teats, super soft texture and gorgeous udder shape.

Blizzard is a STUNNING doe with phenomenal conformation. Long, deep, wide, strong and level, I have not yet found anything I'd change about her. She also has lovely breed character. Her pedigree is packed with milk and correct udders. Her dam is sired by our HEAVY milk buck, Thunder and out of one of our nicest mature does and has a TON of milk. Blizzard's sire is out of one of the best does with the best udder we've had in our herd. Blizzard freshened in 2022 with an udder that is everything I could want! Super tight, snug attachments, perfect teat placement, a strong medial, excellent rear udder height, a smooth foreudder and great production. SO pleased!!!

Milky Way was almost sold as a kid, but due to Covid 19 things changed and she ended up staying. We are SO GLAD! Her dam is one of our heaviest milkers with her main fault being that she is on the tall side. Milky Way's sire is very short with excellent udder attachments and correct teats behind him. I am really liking how Milky Way is maturing. Her ff udder is very nice with excellent teat size, snug attachments and good udder shape. Milky Way is long, level, wide. Her breed character is not as extreme as I like to see in a 5th gen, but acceptable.
